We would like to welcome you to Newcastle's most famous, award winning Indian Restaurant located in the heart of Newcastle City Centre. The Rupali is a family run restaurant established in 1977 by the late Abdul Latif, Lord of Harpole. Serving Indian food for over 30 years, we have an excellent reputation for serving good food at affordable prices. Since opening in 1977 the restaurant has won a number of awards and featured regularly on TV, radio, national newspapers and magazines. The word Rupali means silver service which is what we expect you to receive when dinning with us. Our staff work hard to ensure you have an excellent time and the restaurant is always full of customers who we know who keep coming back for our food, service and to enjoy an evening with us. We specialize in classic Indian cuisine from various parts of the region using the freshest ingredients sourced from local suppliers. Recently we have introduced a fantastic new menu consisting of 12 new house specialities. The new menu features ancient traditional recipes using modern British ingredients to create a lighter, more contemporary menu. We have recently undergone a major refurbishment providing a chic and stylish environment to enjoy our new menu! We also offer great set menus and specials during the week which are available online.
